Memo from General Manager
Canton Municipal Utilities (CMU) has been the city owned utility services provider for well over a century. Its mission from day one (1896) has been the delivery of reliable service at the lowest possible cost with any excess funds staying right here in the community to be used for reducing rates the following year.
The dedicated Board of Commissioners, management, staff and employees of CMU are available twenty four hours per day to insure that every CMU customer is provided prompt, courteous and professional service.
This website is made available to assist with information that we hope will be of great benefit as you learn more about CMU.
